My name is Kathy (Kat) Weaver. I am a 61 year old widow and I am interested in corresponding with a supportive, openminded, understanding, outgoing, and witty man. I am 5'5½" tall and I weigh 127 pounds. I have chestnut brown hair and hazel eyes. I am 1/16 Choctaw Indian (the other 15/16 is German Irish) and my skin is smooth and tan. I do not look my age because I have always taken good care of myself by eating right and with regular exercise.

I am a college graduate and I am a certified dance teacher with 18 years of professional training and 27 years as an instructor of modern and classical dance. I teach pre-K through 12th grade students tap, ballet, and jazz dancing, as well as gymnastics. I teach adults aerobic classes and country western line and swing dancing. Since the 80s "Urban Cowboy" trend, this has been a big thing in Texas, so I took advantage of the movie's success and made a good living while having a lot of fun. I have participated in and won many dance competitions in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana.

I am the "Texas Country Girl" personified. I was raised on a ranch and I love anything to do with horses, cows, riding, roping, and rodeos. I was once a champion in lady's bull riding competitions. I love water sports. Boating, water skiing, fishing, and camping have been a big part of my life. I do a lot of landscaping and have studied it very intensely for several years. I like growing my own plants, flowers and vegetables, and I don't mind getting "down and dirty" in that good ole Texas soil. I intend to continue my college education by studying horticulture and agriculture, and possibly opening my own greenhouse/landscaping business some day.

I am interested in the California wine business and have done extensive research on the wineries there and the making of good wine. I have a great interest in the "Old South" and the restoration of old southern plantation homes. I love to shop for and collect antiques, primarily the primitive wood items. I also love interior decorating and I like to refinish old furniture.

I love my deep Texas roots, but I would be willing to relocate for the right person. I am a loving, loyal, and level-headed woman and I feel I could truly make a difference in a person's life.
